"This is a regularly scheduled weekly practice and training net. Schedule and frequency details can be found for each week on the hcnh-ares.org website. All amateurs are welcome to join the net. You do not have to be an ARES member to do so."

"When checking into the net, please announce yourself with the words, “THIS IS”, followed by a carrier drop to check for doubling, then give your callsign, followed by your given name and your location."
